How do we see AR in our project?

World of Frens is an NFT project that has integrated augmented reality (AR) technology to enhance the user experience of their NFT collectibles. Users can scan their WOF NFTs and view them in 3D AR. This means that users can interact with their WOF collectibles in a whole new way, bringing them to life in a virtual environment.

The AR feature in the Instagram filter app uses a device’s camera and AR technology to detect the WOF NFT and superimpose a 3D model of the collectible onto the real-world environment. Users can then move their device around to explore the WOF NFT from different angles and see it in various locations.

This AR feature enhances the user experience by making the WOF NFTs feel more tangible and real, increasing engagement and adding a new level of excitement to the collection. It also opens up new possibilities for creators to add AR features to their NFTs, such as different AR card colors, your own nickname/username, your own text, and interactive elements.

How does it work?

In the Instagram app, open the camera and swipe left through the icons at the bottom of the screen, then tap the magnifying glass (Browse Effects).
Type in the search bar: World Of Frens (one and only).
When you tap a filter, an NFT photo will pop up.
All you have to do is scan that NFT in real life. It doesn’t matter if it is reproduced on paper, billboard, t-shirt, poster, mural, or directly from the NFT market.
